COMMUNITY PROJECT COMES TO A CLOSE Kent, Ohio-WoodLINKS Cabinetry students from Theodore Roosevelt High School have been diligently working this winter on projects for the school community. THANK ALL THE PARTICIPANTS IN OUR OPEN HOUSE EVENT We want to take this opportunity to thank all the participants in our Open House event Oct. 15 th. Planit Alphacam, Cabinet Vision, Artcam and ETemplate Systems software along with the support staff from Omnitech Systems made the day. Seamless cutting demonstrations from each software provided the chance for attendees to see their projects from design to production. I also want to thank all the attendees. BOARD UPDATES CABINETRY LAB GRAND OPENING OF SHOWROOM AND TRAINING FACILITY Omnitech Systems and CNC Sales of New England, LLC announces the Grand Opening of their showroom and training facility in Old Saybrook CT. Located at 3A West Center Road, the facility features an Omnitech Eco CNC router under power and available for training customers, says showroom manager, David Paine. "We wanted a facility available to our customers for offsite training of their employees. Having the facility in CT provides access to the teachers in the State of CT Technical High Schools who are incorporating CNC training into their carpentry program. CNC Sales of New England is committed to the training of students for manufacturing jobs in the cabinet making/woodworking, as well as the sign and graphics industry." There will be an Open House event October 15, 2009, 8:30am to 4:30pm in cooperation with Omnitech Systems featuring software demonstrations by representatives of E-Template Systems, Planit Solutions, AlphaCam and Cabinet Vision software. DM Solutions, Distributors of Artcam Software for the sign and graphics industry will also be on hand to demonstrate their product. The public is invited to see this technology in operation. St. Judes Childrens Hospital, Cancer Research OMNITECH AT THE IWF 2008 ATLANTA SHOW Omnitech is pleased to announce that the recent IWF show was our companies "best show ever" and we were able to close record sales of the SELEXX series of CNC Routers. Of particular interest to our booth visitors was the "NEW" fully automated Loading and Off-Loading system connected to our model SELEXX/PAL 5' x 10' which included a panel push-off system with integrated duct extraction. This fully automated line is able to process up to 90 - 100 panels in a single shift operation, without any fatigue to the operator, since no manual loading of panels is required. The loading and off-loading system is available on the SELEXX models MATE 4' x 8' - 5' x 10' and 5'x 12'. A further attraction, especially to companies wanting to enter the CNC market for the first time, were very impressed with our model SELEXX/ECO, available in sizes 4'x 8' and 5'x 10', with key features usually found on industrial CNC Routers. OMNITECH succesfully performs "NESTED DOVETAIL" processing on SELEXX CNC Router, with programs generated on "Dovetail DrawerCAD" from RouterCAD Inc., Dallas, Texas. Here's what the operator had to say: "We programmed the dovetail draw on Saturday. This was the first drawer machined. We just put the tools in the ATC, touched them off and ran the program.
